Marina di Praia
The cove and beach at Marina di Praia are tucked away in an enticing little corner of the Amalfi Coast but offer more than just sunbathing with some lovely waking routes to enjoy.
Situated between Praiano and Conca dei Marini, the little cove of Marina di Praia goes almost unmissed as you approach it from the main Amalfi Coast Road. However, this is certainly not a place to be missed as it's one of the prettiest spots along the whole coast-line.
As you walk down the slope you first arrive at a small car park where there's a small collection of buildings including Ristorante Alfonso a Mare. The restaurant lies just behind the beach which is mainly pebbles with a few slithers of sand and the home to dozens of fishing boats.
Take note, as with many beaches along the Amalfi Coast, Marina di Praia enjoys the majority of its sunshine in the mornings so bear that in mind if you're heading down there to sunbathe as by the afternoon the sun starts to hide behind the rocks.
To the right of the beach is a pretty pathway that seems to go on forever and dotted along the path there are various bars and restaurants. If you follow the path up you can walk all the way to Praiano which is itself a lovely walk.
